IDP Showcase

IDP Showcase
I like the Idp it was fun I would like to do it again I was less nervous than I was in the beginning overall I think our presentation was good and I learned a lot on pertussis that I didn't know it can be deadly. This project I think benefited me a lot because if I ever go to an interview I know how to project my voice and get the people engaged in what were doing. I plan to use this experience everywhere I go.

Right

Right
Student success statement
"Always do right."
Doing the right thing is always right and you know its right and it feels good while your doing it. Always do right and right will come onto you. As another quote says "Do onto others as you want them to do onto you" If you treat people bad their going to treat you bad, If you treat them with respect their going to treat you with respect. Sometimes people will treat you with disrespect that's okay you don't have to lower yourself to their standards if you do it makes you them. arguing with stupid people makes you stupid.

In bad company

Student Success Statement
"It's better to be alone than to be in bad company."
-George Washington

I think is better to be alone than with bad company because when your with bad company you have a higher chance of getting in trouble than when you are alone. When you are alone you are more focused on what you need to get done. When your with bad company you choose the wrong.

THE 3 QUESTIONS:

Student Success Statement
The 3 Questions:
1. Can people trust me to do the right thing?

2. Am i commited to doing my very best?

3.Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?

REFLECTION: Can be people trust me to do the right thing. People can trust me to do the right thing because i always try to be trustworthy, because that shows what kind of person you are and your going to become. Nowadays it gets harder and harder to trust people because we are getting crazier and the world is coming to an end.

Am i commited to doing my very best. Yes i am commited for example my GPA was a 2.4 and i wanted at least a 3.0, so i turned in all my late-work did what i was supposed to do everyday and the report cards came and i was stunned my GPA was a 3.1. Overall i try to do my best in everything i do and dont give up fast.

Dont say it dont do it

Dont do it
Dont say it
Student Success Statement
"If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true do not say it."
Marcus Aurelius
I have nothing to say other than to do the right thing when you do good good comes to you so i try my best to forgive and do good for peple and my self DO good onto others good will come onto you.
ANd if your thinking of saying something bad think of another way to say without getting into trouble, for example if you have a teacher you dont like and you want to curse at them just think of another way of saying you can choose not to be a victim or not
Today i was on the bus i caught this bus many times then one day i pressed the button to stop and he didnt stop so i told him he said i didnt look like i was ready to leave, at that point i wanted to tear him into a million pieces, but i controlled myself and said thats okay

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the United States as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. It is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. Thanksgiving has its historical roots in religious and cultural traditions and has long been celebrated in a secular manner as well.
I am thankful for life.

Doing what is right,
 fair and honorable
"doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing."
Chick mooreman
I do believe the right thing is fair and and honorable is better than winning or losing. Because when you win by cheating that's only temporarily happiness but when you do whats right is forever lasting.
You also have to see things from other peoples perspective for example was this professor and the professor he had a book it was red on side and black on the other and he faced the book up and he said what color is this and the students said it was red and he said no try again, then the students said it is red. The professor turned the book around and said it's black in my view, the professor told look at things from other people perspective.

Clement stone

1.Have the courage to say no
2.Have the courage to face the truth
3.Do the right thing because it is right.
"These are the 3 magic Keys to living your life with integrity."
W. Clement Stone

What I think of this quote is you have to say no when people try to steal you cell phone even though they may have a little power of authority/eminence and abuse their power so if they ask you let me see your phone say noooooo!

Everyone has to face the truth sometime in life it depends on how you handle it either you withhold the truth or you tell someone

IT Programmer

Duties and responsibilities:  Computer programmers keep the global economy running. From electronic applications for factories and airlines to platforms for Internet-based commerce, programmers touch nearly every facet of business life. To get a foot in the door with an entry-level programming job, you’ll probably need a bachelor’s degree. However, investing in a programming education could be worth it: A programming job is the launch pad to most computer careers, and the programming field is poised for growth. Programming jobs will increase 12 percent from 2010 to 2020, with the strongest gains in computer system design, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Salary: $72,630

Education: If you want to become a computer programmer, it's a good idea to earn an IT degree. While most employers require a bachelor's degree, some will hire experienced individuals with an associate's degree or certificate. If you plan on applying your programming skills to a specific field, such as health care, it's a good idea to take some classes that will expand your knowledge of that industry. While you are not required to be certified to become a computer programmer, earning certifications for specific programming languages may be helpful.
Reflection: would like to be computer programmer it will be fun and I'm very interested with computers I hope to take computer classes in the future.

Veterans day

Veterans Day is an official United States federal holiday that is observed annually on November 11, honoring people who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, also known as veterans. It coincides with other holidays including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I (major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect). The United States also originally observed Armistice Day; it then evolved into the current Veterans Day holiday in 1954. Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day; Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, while Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who gave their lives and those who perished while in service.

Why is Veterans Day important? November 11th is a special day to honor the men and women who serve our country so that we can enjoy freedom every day.
And behind each of those Veterans, there is also a family who sacrifices a lot while their loved one serves their country.
Veterans Day is important because of the precious freedoms that we take for granted every day. Saying "thank you" to a person in the military is a very small price for our glorious freedom.
Because it's real people like these who protect and honor our precious freedom each and every day.
