This is a great quote because if you want something right now like lets say for example you want to go with your friends to go out or watch a movie and you have homework and you know you have you have to sacrifice your time with your friends and finish your homework. In order to get stuff done in life you always have to sacrifice things that are just temporarily than the things that are really worth getting. If you write down what you want most often you have to strive to get it and do your best always.

What I think of this quote is that a good name will get you places in life and a good name is also better than winning any award that you have according to Coach K. As the old book says “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold." A good name is always important like when you do something good for the community people will always remember your name, another example is when you get all A's teachers will remember you for your good grades. So overall try to make a good name for yourself so you can be an inspiration and a role model and a figure to people you can advise them to do the same thing and a cycle will continue not everyone is going to a have a good name but you do the best you can to try to help people.

Well i agree with this quote if your friends tell you to do something wrong you have a choice to say yes or no, even if it cost you and your friends relationship because good friends wont tell you to do something wrong they will try to help you and say don't do it. Also you have a brain for yourself you know right from wrong don't do it because you want to be cool or popular and try to earn a reputation, because that reputation wont help you on trying to get a job or getting things you want in life. Same thing on smoking or drinking and also drugs don't do it. Be a "CTR" (Choose The Right) person. Also Thomas S. Monson is a religious leader a "prophet" only prophets i know are in the bible.

I totally agree with this quote if you want to make stuff happen you have to go out there and make it happen. A wise man once told me there are three kinds of people in this world "the people who make it happen the people who watch it happen and the people are like what the heck just happen. if you want to be successful you have to get to know people be motivated work hard make a plan set goals to achieve your biggest goal. You cant make a living selling oranges you can but people don't always want oranges and your not going to get retirement off of that so you have to care about what you and always set a goal. If you work hard now then you get to have fun later sometimes you have to sacrifice your childhood to be the best.

I agree with this quote because when you set obedience as a goal you have a choice, your not obligated to do it but you set it as a goal which will motivate to overcome difficult obstacles in your life. Also James E. Faust was an American religious leader, lawyer, and politician so of course he is going to agree with obedience but these kinds of people help "try" to make the world a better place and more peaceful for them. Like when we are in our class we have goal to do type like this everyday and we cant socialize with other people because we a "disrupting" the class, so we have to be obedient we always have to type about someone religious that have said something "inspiring" but i'm going off topic so obedience is a good thing and and something that will make people act right the word obedience means compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another's authority it comes from the Latin word oboe-dire.The people who have power over you expect you to obey them and if you don't you will be prosecuted that's how the world worked back then and that how it works today.

What I think of this quote is and what is has to do with obedience I cant argue with David he goes to church he has a doctorate in behavior, but I think obedience is another way of controlling people I think the rich take advantage of the poor and keep them in poverty they abuse their power. overall obedience is necessary when one does wrong therefore that's when it needs to take place to make someone act right. Im not trying to be negative but that's my perspective on this quote no one is going to be happy if they keep obeying unless your a robot.

I wouldn't like to be a dental assistant but I would like to be a dentist.
