Kendrick Lamar also known as (K-Dot) is the most influential artists today the reason i'm am researching him today because he has inspired me to do. Kendrick is an American rapper from Compton, California. He started his musical career as a teenager releasing a mix-tape that got local attention and signs off with Carson based independent record label (TDE). Kendrick was born on June 17, 1987 in Compton, California to parents from Chicago, Illinois. At the age of eight he witnessed his idols, Tupac Shakur and Dr.Dre, as a teenager he attended Centennial High School in Compton where he was a straight- A student.
